The Wendland area is located in northern Germany, in a virtual triangle between Hannover, Hamburg and Berlin. The nearest train stations are Uelzen (on the InterCity route to/from Hamburg), Schnega, and Salzwedel (on the way to/from Berlin and Stendahl).
Göhr is located 2 km North-West of Schnega, near Clenze, off the B 71 federal road from Uelzen to Salzwedel (see circle). In Spithal, take road on your right to Schnega. After 1 km, two roads go to the right, the second of which will lead you to Göhr. When you enter the village, go beyond the crossing and straight ahead (West); the Harp Workshop is in the second house to your right after you passed the crossing.
